A Time To Move's move manager, Donna J. Stone (left), has dedicated her life to serving people. She has participated in many community volunteer organizations and businesses committed to helping people. This experience has instilled in Donna a desire to commit herself to serving the senior population with care and compassion. Donna's commitment to helping seniors also comes from her personal experience. Both her mother and mother-in-law needed her help during their later years. She knows first hand that seniors in transition have difficulty making decisions and trusting others, even their families, to make decisions for them. Therefore, she is committed to taking a personalized and caring approach to each client.

Barbara Horvitz (right), move manager, also serves as the Sales and Marketing Director. She has been working with A Time to Move since September 2008. Barbara has over 25 years experience in promotional marketing, sales and corporate training. She has enjoyed working in the hospitality industry, the gourmet wine and food arena and also worked in international travel. Barbara prides herself on her strong work ethic and her integrity. Her can-do attitude is appreciated by all those who work with her.
Barbara lived for many years during her childhood in Asia and Europe. She is passionate about traveling and learning about other cultures, history and art. She also enjoys collecting wine. Barbara’s latest passion is ballroom dancing.
Barbara’s desire to be a Senior Move Manager stems from personal experience helping her elderly parents transition into an independent living community. Her deep compassion for seniors and her knowledge of the senior transition process makes Barbara a caring and well respected Senior Move Manager.

 

During our consultations with our clients, we try to instill confidence and trust to alleviate their anxiety or worry about their move.  By explaining what our services entail, we try to show each client how they do not need to worry about the physical aspects of the move.  There is no need for them to do any packing, sorting, or moving until we are there to help them with their decisions.  We pay special attention and respect to their personal needs, especially their memorabilia.
